Upcoming events for Peter Hobart KP

              

               School will not be in session January 20th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
                                        Kids Place will also be closed.

             Friday, January 24th will be a school release day. Kids Place will be open.

We will be taking a trip to Oak Hill Park for sledding and ice skating (weather permitting.)
Ice skates from home are allowed, we do ask that they have blade protectors because we will be on a bus and do not want any accidents.

Please remember to bring:

• Snowpants
• Hats and mittens (preferably waterproof mittens)
• tennis shoes (wet boots are not allowed in the gymnasium)
• skates (optional, rentals are available in the warming house at Oak Park)
• Breakfast and lunch (afternoon snack always provided at Kids Place)

Fun Events around Town in October

Oct 12 & 13 - 12:30-4:30  Ride the Trolley at Lake Harriet and pick up a pumpkin at the end of the line. Pumpkins are $3.00 + the regular fare to ride the trolley. No advance tickets.

Oct 18 & 19 - 32nd annual halloween party at Westwood Nature Center. The creatures at Westwood Hills Nature Center have nature games, refreshments and special activities waiting for you and your family. Pre-registration required. SLP Park and Rec.

Oct 25 - 6:30-8:00 Little Goblin Bash and Pumpkin Hunt

Come in your costume and boo-gie down! The banquet room will be turned into Halloween central with fun music and Halloween treats supplied by Byerly’s. All registered participants will get to pick out a pumpkin from our Wolfe Park Pumpkin Patch! Volunteers welcome. After the event, enjoy free ice skating and free skate rental until 9 p.m. Pre-registration required. Walk-in registrations not allowed. SLP Park and Rec.
